What it is

IRON X IRON (spoken as Iron by Iron) takes its name from Proverbs 27:17. The product is simple on purpose: form a tight group, check in every week, and share your progress with each other.

It is not another habit tracker, nor is it a pornography filter app. It is an accountability framework for men who want to keep each other accountable to spiritual growth and discipline — with Bible reading tracking, weekly challenges, and discussion cards rooted in Scripture.

Men want more for their lives.

Most men know they were made for more than coasting — more discipline, more courage, more Christlikeness. But knowing is not the same as doing. Without brothers to sharpen you, there's a good chance you'll find yourself becoming spiritually dull over time.

IRON X IRON exists because Christian men need opportunities for discipleship: a small group, a weekly connect, and the honesty to keep going when their motivation fades. If you are here, you probably want the same. Welcome. You're not alone.

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13 (ESV)

The Why

The Standard

Godliness doesn’t happen by accident. It takes practice, obedience, and other men who are willing to walk with you.

That conviction is at the heart of IRON X IRON. Scripture tells us to train for godliness—to follow Christ in the ordinary parts of life, when no one is watching, and when doing the right thing costs us something. We also need brothers who know us well, tell us the truth, and confront us when we need it.

The Standard isn’t perfection. It’s faithfulness: staying in the Word, acting on what God is showing you, being honest when you fall short, and getting back up when you stumble.

How it works

  1. Form your group

Invite your accountability partner or small group. Keep it small enough to be honest and open with one another.

  2. Check-in weekly

Track Bible reading, your solo and group challenges and develop trust to be able to encourage and challenge one another.

  3. Talk about what matters

Scripture-rooted conversation prompts for temptation, marriage, discipline, and the rest of real life.
